CIALIS

Cialis is a useful option for fast, effective treatment of erectile dysfunction that can be taken on a when required basis. It is considered one of the more longer active forms of erectile dysfunction treatments.

Cialis is an alternative option of the popular erectile dysfunction treatment, Viagra. It is was introduced to the market after Viagra (Sildenafil) with the promise of a longer duration of action. It is one of the most popular erectile dysfunction tablets taken today.

Cialis, like most erectile dysfunction pills is taken on a when required basis 30-60 minutes before sexual activity. It has a quick onset of action and is considered one of the longer acting forms of erectile dysfunction treatments offering potentially up to 36 hours of cover.

Cialis is an erectile dysfunction treatment designed to:

  • Improves the ability to initiate an erection
  • Improves erection quality
  • Helps improves confidence in men
  • Works in as little as 30 minutes

Cialis has been developed for use by men:

  • Of all different ages
  • With all severities of erectile dysfunction from mild to severe
  • With certain health conditions which may pre-dispose them to have erection problems such as diabetes and peripheral vascular disease.
  • Who have undergone prostate removal which can sometimes result in erectile dysfunction

Tadalafil is the active ingredient in Cialis, whilst Sildenfil is the active ingredient in Viagra. Both of these active ingredients are very similar in their chemical structure and work in the same way to block an enzyme called PDE-5 which can reduce the amount of blood flowing to the penis and thereby reducing erection quality.

Due to the slight structural differences between the two ingredients, Cialis (Tadalafil) is considered a more longer active form of erectile dysfunction treatment and can provide up to 36 hours of cover.

Cialis (Tadalafil) should be taken 30-60 minutes prior to sexual activity and should be limited to once in 24 hours. It is important not to take other erectile dysfunction treatments within 48 hours of taking Cialis, as this may result in a prolonged erection that can be damaging to the penis.

You should not take Cialis (Tadalafil) if you have had previous reactions to it such as throat, tongue or lip swelling. Use with caution if other erectile dysfunction treatments have caused reactions as there is a potential for cross over sensitivity.

You should avoid excessive alcohol whilst taking Cialis (Tadalafil) as this may result in increased side effects such as headaches, dizziness and low blood pressure.

Do not take Cialis if you have had any nitrate based medications such as isosorbide dinitrate and isosorbide mononitrate (often prescribed for chest pain), or amyl nitrite and butyl nitrite (found in recreational drugs such as "poppers").When combined with Cialis, blood pressure may drop to unsafe levels and can put your health in danger!

In some cases, people require Cialis (Tadalafil) a few times (on separate occasions) before noticing the benefits. We therefore advise to trial the medication to prevent users from finding themselves in pressurised situations where the medication may not be effective. This will also allow you to see how long the medication takes to start working, so you are better prepared.

SIDE EFFECTS

All medications have side effects and the same applies to all erectile dysfunction treatments. Most people do not experience troublesome side effects which prevent them from taking treatment.

Common side effects may include, headaches, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, flushing and stuffy or runny noses.

Some people may experience less side effects the more they use the medication.

If you suffer from serious discomfort or you find side effects are prolonged, it is important to seek medical attention.

PLEASE NOTE: If you find after taking any erectile dysfunction treatment that you have a prolonged erection (more than 4 hours) that is not going down then you must seek urgent help via your local A & E department. Prolonged erection can cause irreversible damage to the penis and must be taken seriously.
